  • Greg Greene CFSP, CCO

    Greg Greene CFSP, CCO, Manager / Funeral Director / Embalmer

    Greg Greene has been a lifelong resident of Athens, AL. Greg retired from Delphi / General Motors after 30 years of services. He then started Greene Removal Service and after eight months, he sold the company and had the opportunity to attend Calhoun Community College. In August of 2007 he transferred to John A. Gupton Mortuary College in Nashville, Tennessee and graduated in December of 2008. He is licensed as Funeral Director and Embalmer in Alabama and Tennessee. Greene is also licensed to sell pre-need funerals. Greg has received several awards including, the certification by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice CFSP (Certified Funeral Service Practitioner) in 2011 and Certified Crematory Operator (CCO) by the NFDA in 2016. Greg was named Managing Funeral Director and Embalmer in May of 2017 for Limestone Funeral Home. Greg is married to Selina Tarpley Greene of Athens and they have two children, Sabrina Strain of Ardmore, Al and Coty Greene of Ardmore, Al. Greg also has three Grandchildren, Hadley Anne Strain, Luka Duel Greene, and Lennon Frances Greene. Greg attends Madison Street Baptist in Athens.

  • Joshua Moore CCO

    Joshua Moore CCO, Alabama Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

    Joshua is a lifelong resident of Limestone county. He is a 2006 graduate of East Limestone High School. Joshua has also attended Calhoun Community College for general course studies, religion, and phlebotomy. He has a background in customer service as well as animal health and ranching. Joshua graduated from Jefferson State Community College on May 5, 2017 with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Funeral Service Education. He is married to Tiffany Moore and they have two sons, Jackson and Tucker. He is a member of Truth Baptist Church. Joshua has also been awarded the Certified Crematory Operator (CCO) by the NFDA.

  • Doug Fields

    Doug Fields, Alabama Licensed Funeral Director

    Doug Fields was born in LaGrange, Illinois to Windell and Eunice Colleen Bruner Fields. He moved to London, Kentucky after the sudden death of his father in December 1975. He graduated from Laurel County High School in 1978 and attended Sue Bennett College for 1 year before meeting his future wife, Mary Wiser. Doug and Mary have been married since April, 1980 and have 4 children: Jennifer (Ian) Lacasse, Jessica Jordan, Jacquelyn (Kevin) Fielder, and Douglas Fields II. They have 8 grandchildren: Alyssa, Ally, James, Zaida, Sarah, Mason, Andre, and Emma Cait. Doug has been in the funeral home service since 1979 working some part time, but in 2013 began working full time while going to Calhoun Community College and then Jefferson State Community College where he received his Funeral Service Certificate in December 2014. Doug received his Funeral Director’s License in October 2015. Doug is a member of Eastside church of Christ. Although Doug worked part time here for about 3 years from 2010 -2013, he is very thankful and privileged to be back at Limestone Chapel to serve families and honor the memories of their loved ones.

  • Shannon Terry

    Shannon Terry, Alabama Licensed Funeral Director

    Shannon is a lifelong resident of Limestone County. Shannon was in the feed mill industry for 20 years and joined Limestone Chapel in 2017. He attended Calhoun Community College and graduated Jefferson State Community College in 2020, completing the Funeral Service Education Program. Shannon is married to Kristie Terry and has 2 daughters, Shana (Levi) Lane and Payton Terry and 1 granddaughter Caroline. Shannon is the worship leader at Truth Baptist Church and loves to play piano. Shannon is honored to be a part of such a caring place and help families in their time of need.

  • Joe Don Bailey

    Joe Don Bailey, Alabama Licensed Funeral Director, Pre-Need Specialist

    Born and raised in Alabama, Joe Don has been in the Insurance Industry for 50 years and in the Funeral and Pre-need sales for the last 10 years. He holds a Alabama Insurance License and a Alabama Funeral Director’s License. He is married to Candy (Rowe) Bailey and they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. He is a member of the Central Church of Christ.

  • Jerry Lamar

    Jerry Lamar, Alabama Licensed Funeral Director

    Jerry was born and raised in Alabama. He retired from Dunlop Tire, and has been in the Funeral Industry since 1961, and holds an Alabama Funeral Director’s License. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Jerry is married to Nancy Lamar.

  • Allen Perry

    Allen Perry, Support Staff

    Allen was born and raised in Limestone County. He is a 1976 graduate of Athens High School and 1980 graduate of the University of North Alabama. He is married to Marcia (Carroll) Perry and they live in Decatur. They have two sons, Shane of Dothan, AL and Spencer of Sandy Springs, GA. In December 2012, Allen retired after 31 years as a law enforcement officer. He worked at Athens Police Department, Decatur Police Decatur and the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences. He and Marcia are both very active members at Central Park Baptist Church and with Operation Christmas Child.

  • Albert Haraway

    Albert Haraway, Support Staff

    Albert Haraway is a lifelong resident of Limestone County and a 1974 graduate of Athens Bible School. Upon graduation, Albert farmed full-time from 1975 until 2005. Albert has spent much of his life in agriculture and the production of Corn, Wheat, Soybeans, Cotton, and also working in the Science of Preserving and Improving OLDLINE swine genetics. Albert is also employed by the Limestone County Board of Education as a School Bus Driver for the last 15 years. Albert is married to Brenda Haraway, and they are members of the Market Street Church of Christ where he leads Singing and rotates with others teaching the Adult Auditorium Bible Class. Albert has worked part-time at LIMESTONE CHAPEL since 2007 where he enjoys and appreciates the opportunities to serve families at a difficult time in their lives.

  • Larry White

    Larry White, Alabama Licensed Funeral Director

    Larry attended Calhoun Community College and is a a graduate of Jefferson State Community College. He completed a course of study for Funeral Director and graduated with distinction.He also served six years active duty in the U.S. Navy as an Electronic Technician and held a Top Secret Security Clearance during his enlistment.Larry retired after thirty years of employment with Norfolk Southern Railway as a Communication Electronic Technician.He has been married to Marcy for 37 Blessed years and together they have 4 children and 15 grandchildren. Larry and Marcy are members of Lindsay Lane Baptist Church.

  • Micheal  Clark

    Micheal Clark, Apprentice Funeral Director & Apprentice Embalmer

    Micheal Clark is a lifelong resident of Limestone County. He lives in Athens with his wife Katie where they have been blessed with three children: Emma, Ashlyn, and Miles. Michael works for Cook's Pest Control in Decatur. He is a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church where he actively serves in multiple ministries. After the passing of their oldest daughter, Emma, he is honored to be with Limestone Chapel serving the families of our community in their similar times of need.

  • Priscilla  Nunnelee

    Priscilla Nunnelee, Support Staff

    Priscilla Coffman Nunnelee was born and raised in Limestone County. She graduated from East Limestone High School and Athens State College. Priscilla works at Committee on Church Cooperation in Decatur and is a trustee at Bottom's Cemetery in Athens. She has one daughter and is a member of First Baptist Church Decatur.

  • Caren Sample

    Caren Sample, Office Manager

    Caren has lived in Athens for most of her life. She enjoys baking, and has owned her own business in the past. She enjoys spending time with her family, especially her nephew. She attends Calvary Baptist Church in Huntsville.

  • Kristen Kress

    Kristen Kress, Office Assistant

    Kristen was born and raised in Limestone County. She is a graduate of Athens State University. She also works at Elkmont Baptist Church where she is a member.

  • Mireya Watson

    Mireya Watson, Office Assistant/Support Staff

    Mireya Watson recently moved to Huntsville, Alabama, from Tucson, Arizona where she was born and raised. She joined the Limestone Chapel Funeral Home family in June 2023. She has been happily married for 5 years with one adorable daughter. She is a 2016 graduate of Tucson High School. Mireya hopes to pursue a career in Funeral Directing and embalming in the near future.
