Stella L Goodin, 84 of Athens, Alabama died on Sunday, June 6, 2010, at Huntsville Hospital in Huntsville, Alabama.Born Monday, July 13, 1925, she was the daughter of the late Samuel Lauderdale and the late Lady Harwell Lauderdale.She was a member of O'Neal Church Of Christ. Mrs. Goodin was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leroy Goodin, two brothers, Kenneth and Max Lauderdale, grandson, Joey Pressnell and a daughter-in-law, Claire GoodinSurviving are son, Tommy Goodin of Athens, AL, daughters, Linda (Glen) Pressnell of Athens, AL, Dorothy (Jim) Cater of Youngsville, LA and Gayle (Jerry) Yarbrough of Athens, AL, sisters, Jane Meredith of Athens, AL and Betty Bates of Athens, AL, Nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 9, 2010 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Guy McDaniel and Greg Chandler officiating. Interment will be in Myers Cemetery.The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, Athens, Alabama.
