Mrs. Ruth Lauderdale Webb passed away on June 11, 2010 at Limestone Health Facility in Athens, AL. The funeral service for Mrs. Webb will be held on Monday, June 14, 2010, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Eugene Britnell will be officiating. Interment will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held Sunday, June 13, 2010, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. Mrs. Webb was born on August 17, 1927 In Limestone County, AL, to Richard Lauderdale and Anna Buchanan. She was a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Webb was a Homemaker, Wife and Mother. She is preceded in death by her husband, Earnest H. Webb; parents, Richard Sammy and Anna Mae Lauderdale; brothers, Paisley Lauderdale, Homer Lauderdale, and Arnold Lauderdale; and, a sister, Ruby Dorning. Mrs. Webb is survived by a son: Danny Webb, Harvest; three daughters; Jane Webb Holland, Jean Webb Adams, Denise Webb Taylor, all of Athens, three brothers, Howard Lauderdale of Florence, Al., Robert and Donald Lauderdale of Athens. One sister; Robbie Gozia, of Athens. Six grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. Pallbears; Jeff Webb, Kevin Webb, Shawn Holland, Allen Taylor, Jeffery Webb, and Preston Webb.
