Roger Eason Malone, Jr.

The funeral service for Roger Eason Malone, Jr. will be held on Sunday, March 28, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Steve Ferguson officiating. Interment will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 27, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Mr. Malone passed away on March 26, 2010, at his home in Elkmont, AL. Mr. Malone was born on June 25, 1921 to Roger E. Malone, Sr. and Rebecca Taylor Malone in Prospect, Tn. Mr. Malone retired from the Limestone Board of Education and was a member of Elkmont Church of Christ, where he was also an elder. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Limestone County, St. Jude Childrens Hospital, Danny Thomas Blvd., Memphis, TN Mr. Malone is survived by his sons: Roger B. Malone and wife, Phyllis of Anderson, AL, Michael D. Malone and wife, Ginger of Athens, AL. Son-in-Law: Henry Seibert of Priceville, AL., Daughters: Ann Robinson and husband, Dink of Elkmont, AL, Betty Graham and husband, Robert of Smyrna, TN., Kay Loggins and husband, Wade of Athens, AL. Brother: Earl T. Malone of Fairview, TN., Sisters: Margaret Jones of Nashville, TN., Rachel Jones of Wasilla, Alaska. 12 ; Grandchildren, 13; Great Grandchildren. Mr. Malone was preceded in death by parents: Roger and Rebecca Malone, Wife: Lois Irene Malone, Daughter: Cathy Seibert. Pallbearers: Charles Clem, Robert Graham, Wade Loggins, Dink Robinson, Steve Bates, Stan Davis.
