Kristine Stapleton White, 79, of Athens, passed away Friday, February 18, 2022, at her residence. Mrs. White was born April 2nd, 1942, in Ohio to William Stapleton and Anna Fern Stapleton. Mrs. White is survived by daughter Jennifer Terry (David); grandchildren John Logan Terry (Alana), Timothy William Terry (Ashley), Anna Terry Hetzer (Matthew), and David Benjamin Terry; great-grandchildren Marlowe Terry and Madelyn Hetzer; and brother Lawrence Stapleton. Preceded in death by her parents; her husband John Henry White; and son John Michael White. Funeral Mass will be Friday, February 25th, at 10:30 am, at Saint Paul’s Catholic Church with Father Tom and Father Charlie officiating. Rosary is Friday from 10:00-10:30 am at the church. Burial will be at Athens City Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Logan Terry, Timothy William Terry, David Benjamin Terry, and Matthew Hetzer. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Hospice of North Alabama, American Cancer Society, and St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
