Dr. Kenny Lee Eldred Age 73 Dr. Kenny LeeEldred of Athens, AL passed away on May 14, 2010 at his residence. The funeral service for Dr. Eldred will be held on Sunday, May 16, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home with Dusty McLemore and Sonny Schofield officiating. Interment will be held in Limestone Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held on Sat, May 15, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel. Dr. Eldred was born on Nov. 27, 1936 to Ray and Nancy Dixon Eldred in Covington, KY. Dr. Eldred was a practicing chiropractor in Athens since 1960 until February 19, 2010, after coming from Tomkinsville, KY. where he practiced for two years. He was an avid bass fisherman and of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his parents: Ray and Nancy Dixon Eldred and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by girlfiriend: Stella Whitt of Athens, AL, son: Gregory Ray Eldred of Toney, AL, daughter, Terri Lee Vibbert of Summershade, KY, brother, Eugene Simpson of Boise, Idaho, sister: Mary Louise Tomlin of Indianapolis, Ind., grandchildren: Crystal Lee Fields, Jeremy Keith Vibbert, great grandchild: Austin Keith Fields. Pallbearers: Scott Towery, Danny Heard, James McCreary, James Smith, Mitch Davis, Troy Davis, Honorary: Carlos Hardy, Austin James, Lamar Bauer, Dwight Young, Joe Campbell.
