The funeral service for Mr. John Franklin Ridinger, of Athens, Alabama will be held at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home on Friday, June 11, 2010, at 3:00 p.m. with Dr. Rick Craft officiating. Also, visitation will begin at 1:00 p.m. until 3:00p.m., on the day of the service. Interment will be New Salem Cemetery at a later date. Mr. John Franklin Ridinger passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2010, at Athens-Limestone Hospital. Mr. Ridinger was born on April 14, 1946, to Arthur and Lucille Newman Ridinger in Limestone County. Mr. Ridinger is preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Sharon Coffman Ridinger. Survivors are: parents, Bill and Lucille Ridinger; sons, John Ridinger of Athens, Shane Ridinger of Elkmont, Stacey Ridinger of Elkmont, and Chris Ridinger of Huntsville; sisters, Judy Moss and Vickie Dollar of Athens; Ten grandchildren and several nieces.
