John Lawson Haaker, 69 of Athens, passed away on Saturday, January 22nd, 2022, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Haaker was born on March 5th, 1952, to Carl Allen and Annie Laurie Lawson Haaker. Mr. Haaker is survived by his wife, Linda; daughter Lori Lea Adams (Marcus) of Toney; son Keith Allen Haaker (Crystal) of Athens; and grandchildren Kaitlyn Grace Smith, Dellea Mattison Haaker, Emily Beth Smith, Alan Joseph Smith, and Carson Allen Haaker. Preceded in death by his parents. Mr. Haaker enjoyed the outdoors, cattle farming, and gardening. He loved photography, wood working, competition grilling, westerns, and especially his hot rods. He was known to love to pull pranks on his family and friends.
