Jimmy Clyde Swindle, 76 of Greenville, Mississippi, passed away on Thursday, April 28th, 2022. Mr. Swindle was born on January 31st, 1946, to Frank Edward and Quebel Potts Swindle. Mr. Swindle is survived by his children Michele Swindle Penton (Kendall) of Athens, Jimmy DeLane Swindle (Sara) of Florence, and Nicola Swindle Brown (Jarod) of Athens; grandchildren Cheyenne Kyle (Mark), Kolby Penton (Kaylan), Cameron Penton (Claire), Adrienne Betancourt (Jose), Jay Brown (Emily), Kyla Penton, E’Laure Brown, Bailey Swindle, and Zachary Brown; great-grandchildren Koen Penton, Luca Betancourt, Kayden Penton, and Matthew Kyle; brother Gary Frank Swindle; and a host of nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; and wife Pat Swindle. Funeral services for Mr. Swindle will be Sunday, May 1st, 2022, at 6:00pm at LifeGate Church in Madison, AL, with Rev. Kendall Penton and Rev. Jonathan Toler officiating. Visitation will be Sunday from 4:00-6:00pm at the church. Pallbearers will be Kolby Penton, Cameron Penton, Jay Brown, Zachary Brown, Jose Betancourt, Mark Kyle, Ray Durdin, and Brad Frazier. Burial will be at Forest Memorial in Batesville, Mississippi. Mr. Swindle was a member of LifeGate Church for the last 3 years. He served his community, North Mississippi, and the Memphis area as a roofing contractor for over 40 years. He was a devoted husband to his wife Pat, taking care of her until her death, and was a beloved father and grandfather. After his wife, his joy was his grandkids. He loved Family Feud, westerns, Dirty Santa, cowboy boots, and fedoras, but nothing interfered with his nightly date with Vanna White of Wheel of Fortune! He will be sorely missed!
