Mrs. Janice LeGay Turner Brandon, age 64 of Elkmont, AL, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2010 at her residence. She was born on December 16, 1945 in Huntsville, AL, to Evans H. and Gladys Hobbs Turner. Mrs. Brandon was preceded in death by her parents. She worked as a presser for Ultra Clean Cleaners and was a member of Truth Baptist Church. The funeral service is planned Saturday, July 3, 2010 at 3:30 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Interment will be at Roselawn. Rev. Donald Terry will be officiating. Visitation will be at Limestone Chapel on Friday, July 2, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Mrs. Brandon is survived by her husband, William of Elkmont, AL; son, Scott Brandon of Athens, AL; daughter, Cindy Gordon of Lester, AL; brothers, Howard Turner, Hazel Green, AL, Edward Turner of Merdianville, AL; sister, Jeroma Couch, Hartsville, TN; and two grandchildren, Marissa Brandon and Courtney Hobbs. Pallbearers: Scott Brandon, J. C. Powell, Darren Fortenberry, David Fortenberry, Greg Hobbs and Kevin Turner.
