Eydie Owens, 47 of Elkmont, passed away on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2022, at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mrs. Owens was born on June 21st, 1974, to Lanny Powers, Sr. and Virginia Barnett Powers. Mrs. Owens is survived by her husband Scott Watson; son Bayle Owens (Kayla) of Athens; daughter Cheyanne Adams (Dylan) of Athens; sons Daniel Pruett (Amber) of Athens, and Jason Pullen of Elkmont; brother Lanny Powers, Jr. (Karen) of Athens; sister Tammy Graham (Jay) of Rogersville; and grandchildren Kinsley, Gabriel, Chase, Connor, Harlow, and Lincoln. Preceded in death by her birth parents and parents Ray and Barbara Powers; and grandson Colton Adams. A graveside service for Mrs. Owens will be Tuesday, May 10th, 2022, at 11:00am at Pleasant Point Cemetery, with Jerry Smith officiating. Visitation will be Monday, May 9th, from 5:00-8:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Eydie dearly loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She was baptized in the Church of Christ.
