Danny “Chico” Joines age 55 of Elkmont, passed away Thursday, February 17, 2011 at Athens Limestone Hospital. Mr. Joines was born November 11, 1955 in Lincoln County to Robert Loyd Joines and Nodie Bell Pirtle Joines. Services will be Saturday, February 19, 2011 4:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Friday, February 18, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens with Donald Clem officiating. Proceeded in death by his father, Robert Loyd Joines and daughter Miranda Shea Joines. Survived by his wife, Lisa Joines of Elkmont; son, Robert Dain Joines of Athens; mother Nodie Bell Joines;five brothers, R.L. Joines, Larry Joines, Stanley Joines, Jerry Joines all of Athens and Donnie Joines of Elkton, TN.; four sisters, Frances Vincent of Athens, Martha Taylor, Linda Kesler and Shelia Gunter of Elkmont; mother-in-law Jane Elmore; 23 nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Donnie Joines Larry Joines, Chris Shedd, Scottie Taylor, Barry Gunter and Bradley Cobb.
