Kimberly "Kim" Michelle Crouch

Kimberly “Kim” Michelle Crouch, 57, of Athens, passed away on Friday, February 21st, 2025, at Huntsville Hospital. Mrs. Crouch was born on November 20th, 1967, in Huntsville, to Billy and Carolyn Pirtle Jones. Mrs. Crouch is survived by her husband Keith Crouch; daughters Lillian Crouch Noel (Brandon) and Olivia Caroline Crouch; grandchildren John Patton Noel and Molly Caroline Noel; parents Billy and Carolyn Pirtle Jones; brother Erik Jones (Christy); mother-in-law Connie Crouch; and a host of nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Crouch will be Monday, February 24th, 2025, from 5:00-8:00pm at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, February 25th, at 2:00pm at Belmor Baptist Church (5895 Mooresville Road, Tanner, AL 35649). Mrs. Crouch will lie in state from 1:00-2:00pm. Burial will be at Fairview Baptist Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Justin Crow, Chad Ferrell, Chad Henderson, Jerry Allen Newby, Jackson Henderson, and Alan Marsh. Keith and Kim were married for 34 1/2 years after being high school sweethearts and dating for five years. Theirs was the classic love story. Their first date was August 17, 1985, and they were married five years to the day of their first date on August 17, 1990. Kim and Keith would both tell you that they truly fell in love from the first date, and it was a love story that spanned forty years. They would go on to have their first daughter, Lillian Claire, on April 24th, 1992, and then their second daughter, Olivia Caroline, would be born on April 11, 2002. Her girls were the light of her life, and she was so proud of both of them. She was the girls’ greatest cheerleader, whether it was twirling a baton in East Limestone’s band or cheering at a softball game. She instilled in our girls so many of the qualities that a godly woman should display in their lives. They each have grown into godly women themselves and that made Kim the proudest. Her grandchildren, John Patton and Molly Caroline, were her world. They made her so proud and so happy. She was the best Sugar that two grandchildren could ever hope to have in their lives. She was also a mom to so many of our girls’ friends over the years. Kim and Keith’s home was always a place her friends felt welcomed and loved in no matter what the situation, in large part due to Kim’s love and kindness. She also loved the many babies and children she was able to keep over the years. Kim always loved them and their parents in a way that was just special. Kim’s greatest quality was her faith in Christ. She loved the Lord, and she loved her Belmor Baptist Church family. She truly lived a life marked by unwavering faith and a love for the Lord. This faith and love only intensified as her battle with cancer intensified. A battle that she ultimately attained victory over Friday morning at 2:15 am. While we are crushed in heart, we are thankful beyond measure for the hope that we see by faith, but that she knows by sight as she is basking this very day in the presence of her Lord and Savior. Her prayer during this journey from when she was first diagnosed October 13, 2013, until she won her battle Friday morning at 2:15 am when she was called home by our sovereign Lord was that God would get glory from her life. She fought the good fight and finished her race and finished it well. To God be the glory!!
