<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://www.limestonechapel.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/115_115700.jpg" alt="Gloria Kay Hadder" />Gloria Kay Hadder, 61 of Athens, passed away on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Huntsville Hospital.  Mrs. Hadder was born July 19, 1950 in Mobridge, South Dakota to Otto Hoff and Tillie Libis Hoff.  

Services for Mrs. Hadder are Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m.  Visitation will be Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m.  Burial will be in Elkview Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Hadder was retired from Mutual Savings Life Insurance Company.

She is survived by her husband, Tim Hadder of Athens; daughters, Tammy Sledge and husband Jason of Madison and Olivia Pennington of Athens; grandchildren, Clint Potts, Drew Sledge, Whitney Sledge, Haley Donahey, Autumn Donahey and Chris Donahey; sister, Valerie Bowman and husband Cliff of Rapid City, SD.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://www.limestonechapel.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/115_115631.jpg" alt="Annie Ruth Laxson Yarbrough" />Annie Ruth Laxson Yarbrough age 81 of Athens, passed away Monday, February 20, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Yarbrough was born June 28, 1930 in Limestone County, to Robert Guinn Laxson and Annie Vazelle Grooms Laxson.
Services will be Saturday, February 25, 2012 3:00 p.m. at Isom’s Chapel Methodist Church. Visitation will be Saturday, from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at the church prior to the funeral. Burial will be in Isom’s Chapel Church Cemetery with Eddie Gooch officiating.
Mrs. Yarbrough was a member of Isom’s Chapel Methodist Church. She was involved in the UMW, instrumental in starting Upward Basketball Ministry. She loved to sing and praise the Lord, and was Choir Director for many years. She sang in a group that worshipped at the Nursing Homes. Compiled and wrote history of East Limestone High School. She was an active member of the Woodman of the World and a renowned birthday and wedding cake baker. Mrs. Yarbrough was married to her childhood sweetheart for 60+ years Clayton Edward Yarbrough.
Preceded in death by a sister, Mary Joyce Laxson Smith of Chicago.
Survived by her husband, Clayton Edward Yarbrough of Athens; two daughters, Yvonne Chadick (Bill) of Athens and Ann Smith (Richard) of Huntsville; one son, Don Yarbrough (Trudi) of Cumberland Furnace, TN; grandchildren, Charles Smith, Carolyn Ponce, Keisha Chadick, Josh Chadick and Laura Yarbrough; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Glynn Laxson (Ermogene) and Wallace Laxson (Ginger) both of Athens; sister, Joan Laxson of Athens.

<description><![CDATA[<img src="http://www.limestonechapel.com/components/comObituaries/obituarythumbnails/115_115416.jpg" alt="Patsy Jane Chapman" />Patsy Jane Chapman age 64 of Anderson, passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at her residence. Mrs. Chapman was born April 16, 1947 in Limestone County to Reuben Meadows and Annie Burns Meadows.
Graveside services will be Sunday, February 19, 2012 3:00 p.m., At Oak Grove Cemetery with Bro. Terry Lamar officiating. Visitation will be Sunday, from 12:30 p.m. until 2:15 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. 
Mrs. Chapman was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and a member of The Eastern Star.
Patsy and Earl dedicated a significant portion of their lives to the foster children of Limestone County. Patsy opened her home and he heart to over 200 foster children over a period of approximately 20 years from 1970 to 1990.
Preceded in death by her husband, William Earl Chapman; parents, Reuben and Annie Meadows; sister, Nancy Meadows Owen ;brother, Edward Allen Meadows.
Survived by five sons, Jimmy Chapman of Auburn, Donnie Chapman (Alice) their children, Jordan, Nick, and Marie, Kenneth Wilburn (Tonia)and children, Kent and Hannah, Roger Dupree (Debra) and children, April, Beatrice, Abigail and Robert great-grandchild, Railey , Barry Moss (Jenny) and child, Skye all of Athens; two daughters, Amy Anderson (Mac) of Athens and children, Gaven, Kiarra, Carla, Mesha, Tameia and Alantra, and great- grandchildren, Kayla and Niya, and Joy Moss Watkins (Jeff) and children, Hannah and Bethany of Priceville; brother, Ronald Meadows (Billie).
Pallbearers will be Stevie Romero, Kenneth Bassham, Darrin Russell, Junior Fierro, Larry Chapman and John Allen Owen.

Mr. Atkinson was born September 23, 1916 in Limestone County to Henry Thomas Atkinson and Octavia Hall Atkinson.
Services will be Monday, February 20, 2012 2:00 p.m., at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home. Visitation will be Monday, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Burial will be in New Garden Cemetery with Steve Ferguson officiating.
Mr. Atkinson was a member of Elkmont Church of Christ. Preceded in death by six sisters, Gladys Bland, Mattie Hogan, Mamie Vaughn, Juanita Hargrove, Ruby Pressnell and Earline Bartoo; two brothers, Alvin “Tot” Atkinson and Tillman Atkinson.
Survived by his wife, Lucille Atkinson of Elkmont; two sons, Ray Atkinson and Stanley Atkinson both of Elkmont; two grandchildren, Stacey Atkinson and Chris Atkinson both of Elkmont.

Mr. Waddell was a member of the Baptist Church.

Clem age 85 of Athens, passed away on February 5, 2012 at Athens Rehabilitation and Senior Center.  Mr. Clem was born March 23, 1926 in Limestone County to Robert L. Clem and Mattie Frances Magnusson.
 
Services for Mr. Clem are Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home.  Visitation will be Tuesday, February 7, 2012 from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m.  Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens with Tony Wales and Pat Lawrence officiating.
  
Mr. Clem was a member of Elkton Road Baptist Church.  He was a veteran of WWII and retired from NASA after 40 years of service.

He is survived by is son, Thomas Dean Clem and wife Terresa; daughter, Judy Darnell Goode and husband Tommy; step-daughter, Linda Haney; 9 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; special friend Lois Bates.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Robert L. and Mattie Frances Clem, his wife Lois Wright Clem, his step-son Alvin Highsmith, step-grandson Bart Highsmith, brother Leon Clem and sisters, India Furline, Robbie Furline and Linda Faye Ursery.

Pallbearers are Steve Clem, Robbie Christian, Wayne Simpkins, Tommy Hunter, Eric Johnson and Lamar Lloyd.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Elkton Road Baptist Church.
