Pam Adams Davis is a native of Limestone County. Previously, she worked in the retail industry in sales and management for 22 years. Pam has a son, Jeremy Lynn Davis, and wife, Emily, and three grandsons, Matthew, Gavin and Jordan. Also, Pam enjoys making jewelry and the outdoors. Pam has worked in all aspects of the funeral industry from 2004 until the present.

Co-Owner of Limestone Chapel Funeral Home is a licensed embalmer and Funeral Director. Also serves on various committees with Alabama Funeral Directors Association.  A member of the Independent Funeral Group and a member of the National Funeral Directors Association. Married to Rhonda Blythe of Athens and have two children, Kenneth Blythe II and Brigette Miller of Athens, AL and three grandchildren: Briley Kate, William Grayson and Easton Blythe Miller. He is a member of Sardis Springs Baptist Church.

JIMMY STROUD Co-Owner, Alabama Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer

Stroud's career in the funeral home industry began at the age of sixteen.  Since 1976, Stroud has been an Alabama licensed funeral director and embalmer. He is a member of the National Funeral Director Association, Alabama Funeral Director Association and the American Embalmers Association. Stroud current holds an Alabama license to sell pre-need funerals. He is married to Mary Stroud and they both have five children and eight grandchildren. He is a member of the West Hobbs Street Church of Christ.

LANCE DAVIS Co-Owner

Lance holds a BS Degree in Accounting from Athens State University. He received his Certified Public Accountant certificate in 1994. Lance is the managing member of the accounting firm Davis & Cole, LLP. He joined Kenny Blythe, Jimmy Stroud and Mike Davis in acquiring Limestone Chapel Funeral Home in 2005.  He serves as the financial officer of the company. In his spare time, he has served as Head Basketball Coach at Athens Bible School. Lance is married to April Davis and has two children, Mackenzie and Luke. He is a member of the Elm Street Church.

MIKE DAVIS Co-Owner, Alabama Licensed Funeral Director

Mike Davis served as Probate Judge of Limestone County for twenty-eight years.  He recently retired. Prior to his judgeship, Davis was a teacher and coach at Ardmore High School for eleven years. He holds a BS Degree in Social Sciences from Athens State University and holds an Alabama Funeral Director License and an Alabama Life Insurance License. Davis joins the staff assisting in marketing and advertizing. Davis is a charter member of the Board of Directors of the Limestone County Sports Hall of Fame, the Athens State University Foundation Board, the Limestone County Chamber of Commerce, member of the Birdie Thornton School Board of Directors, Alabama Funeral Director Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. Davis was married to the former Sandra White Davis for 32 years until her death in 2001. Davis is currently married to Denise Doss Davis and between the two have five children: Lance Davis, Davis & Cole, LLP, who is married to the former April Melvin (children: Mackenzie and Luke); Dr. Chad Davis, Davis EyeCare, who is married to the former Brandy Fleming (children: Kyle, Jenna and Katelyn); Kristi Miles, a pharmaceutical sales representative, who is married to Jake Miles (children: Cade, Cole and Cannon); Wes Coleman, employed by First National Bank; and Mary Ellen Coleman, a Registered Nurse, who is serving in Africa. He is the proud “Pop” of eight grandchildren.

Born and raised in Alabama, Joe Don has been in the  Insurance Industry for 50 years  and in the Funeral and Pre-need sales for the last 10 years. He holds a Alabama Insurance License and a Alabama Funeral Director’s License. He is married to Candy (Rowe) Bailey and  they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. He is a member of the Central Church of Christ.

Greg Greene has been a lifelong resident of Athens, AL.  Greg retired from Delphi / General Motors after 30 years of services. He then started Greene Removal Service and help service the Funeral Homes in the North Alabama Area. After eight months, he sold the company and had the opportunity to attend Calhoun Community College and then in August 2007 transferred to John A. Gupton Mortuary College in Nashville, Tennessee. Graduated in December 2008. He is licensed as Funeral Director and Embalmer in Alabama and Tennessee. He is also a member of the Alabama Funeral Director Association and Member of the Tennessee Funeral Directors and Morticians Association. Greene current holds an Alabama license to sell pre-need funerals. In November, 2011, Greg was awarded the certification by the Academy of Professional Funeral Service Practice and may use the designation CFSP (Certified Funeral Service Practitioner) after his name.Greg has also been award the Certified Cematory Operator (CCO) by the NFDA at the Tennessee Funeral Directors convention in 2016. Greg is married to Selina Tarpley Greene of Athens and they have two children, Sabrina Strain of Ardmore, Al and Coty Greene of Ardmore, Al. Greg also has two Grandchildren, Hadley Anne Strain and Luka Duel Greene. Greg attends Madison Street Baptist in Athens.

DOUG FIELDS Alabama Licensed Funeral Director

Doug Fields was born in LaGrange, Illinois to Windell and Eunice Colleen Bruner Fields. He moved to London, Kentucky after the sudden death of his father in December 1975. He graduated from Laurel County High School in 1978 and attended Sue Bennett College for 1 year before meeting his future wife, Mary Wiser. Doug and Mary have been married since April, 1980 and have 4 children: Jennifer (Ian) Lacasse, Jessica (Clay) Jordan, Jacquelyn (Kevin) Fielder, and Douglas Fields II. They have 8 grandchildren: Alyssa, Ally, James, Zaida, Sarah, Mason, Andre, and Emma Cait. Doug has been in the funeral home service since 1979 working some part time, but in 2013 began working full time while going to Calhoun Community College and then Jefferson State Community College where he received his Funeral Service Certificate in December 2014. Doug received his Funeral Director’s License in October 2015. Doug is a member of Eastside church of Christ. Although Doug worked part time here for about 3 years from 2010 -2013, he is very thankful and privileged to be back at Limestone Chapel to serve families and honor the memories of their loved ones.

Jerry was born and raised in Alabama.  He retired from Dunlop Tire, and has been in the Funeral Industry since 1961, and holds an Alabama Funeral Director’s License. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War. Jerry is married  to Nancy Lamar.

Ladon was born and raised in Athens, Alabama. He is a 1983 graduate of Athens High and a 2000 graduate of Jefferson State Community College, earning a degree in Funeral Service Education and Mortuary Science. Ladon has served in the funeral industry for 24 years. He is National Board Certified, Licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, state of Alabama authorized Pre-need agent, and a state of Alabama Licensed Life Insurance agent. He is a member of Alabama's Emergency and Disaster S-Mort Team, the Alabama Funeral Directors Association and the National Funeral Directors Association. In January 2015 he was awarded the CFSP designation (Certified Funeral Service Practitioner) by the Academy of Professioanl Funeral Service Practice.  Ladon is married to Donna Williams Emerson and they have two children, Paige and John. He is a member of Sweet Springs Baptist Church.

Monica was born and raised in Limestone County. She is a graduate of Calhoun Community College and has previously worked in Commercial Development and Drafting for the past 7 years.  She is married to Kenneth Blythe II and is a member of Sardis Springs Baptist Church.

Heather has been a resident of Limestone County for most of her life, and now lives in the East Limestone Community. She attended Auburn University and is currently a student at Athens State University. Heather previously worked in retail and the medical field, and has several years of customer service experience. She is married to Jon Smith and they are the parents of Gabby and Jude.

Allen was born and raised in Limestone County.  He is a 1976 graduate of Athens High School and 1980 graduate of the University of North Alabama.  He is married to Marcia (Carroll) Perry and they live in Decatur.   They have two sons, Shane of Dothan, AL and Spencer of Sandy Springs, GA.  In December 2012, Allen retired after 31 years as a law enforcement officer.  He worked at Athens Police Department, Decatur Police Decatur and the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences.  He and Marcia are both very active members at Central Park Baptist Church and with Operation Christmas Child.

LARRY WHITE Alabama Licensed Funeral Director

Larry attended Calhoun Community College and is a a graduate of Jefferson State Community College. He completed a course of study for Funeral Director and graduated with distinction.

He also served six years active duty in the U.S. Navy as an Electronic Technician and held a Top Secret Security Clearance during his enlistment.

Larry retired after thirty years of employment with Norfolk Southern Railway as a Communication Electronic Technician.

Married to Marcy for 32 Blessed years and together they have 4 children and 15 grandchildren.

Larry and Marcy are members of Lindsay Lane Baptist Church.

Joshua is a lifelong resident of Limestone county. He is a 2006 graduate of East Limestone High School. Joshua has also attended Calhoun Community College for general course studies, religion, and phlebotomy. He has a background in customer service as well as animal health and ranching. Joshua graduated from Jefferson State Community College on May 5, 2017 with an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Funeral Service Education. He is married to Tiffany Moore and they have two sons, Jackson and Tucker. He is a member of East Highland Baptist Church. Joshua has also been awarded the Certified Crematory Operator (CCO) by the NFDA.
